[vtkusers] ILAB vs VTK

Hi,
I have heard of the open source package ILAB for visualization. Can someone tell me a little
more about this package, including its features and what kind of algorithms it has, its speed
etc and how they all compare to VTK? Or is this a comparison of apples with oranges?!:-)
