[vtkusers] Fog and MFC under VTK 4.3.0

Has anyone tried to implement fog effects under MFC in VTK 4.3.0? 

I tried the method as outlined by Schaap, J.A. in the newsgroup (look for
"Fog") but whilst there does seem to be a fog effect happening I can't use
the Open GL commands to change it. I.e. colour, fog start/end etc. 

 

I am basically doing the same thing as outlined by Schapp.

 

Has anyone any clues?

 

I also wrote a simple console based application and I get the same
behaviour.
