[vtkusers] HELP! pixel values from image data

Cristos,
I am not an expert in VTK but I got some help in a
similar problem when trying to retrieve an specific
value from a 3D matrix stored in a data file. 
Please check the method "GetScalarComponentAsFloat"
(thanks Mathieu). It might solve your problem.
