[vtkusers] AddRMI under Python?

Is there a reason the RMI stuff hasn't yet been wrapped under Python?  I'd
like to use the RMI mechanisms in, specifically, the vtkSocketController for
doing some parallel VTK application development under Python, and found that
AddRMI isn't implemented.  Is there a particular reason, or is it only
because it hasn't been requested before?  Or that no one had time to do it?
I'd be happy to poke at it if I could get some advice on where to look and
some confirmation that it wasn't a conscious choice for some reason....
