[vtkusers] vtk problem

hello!! all VTK user
i have some problem:
how to change data format to .vtk???
because i have a 3D image 30*128*128, it is a .v file
i use matlab to open it and read it(format:"ushort"),then display it
but, now i want to change its format to .vtk and show it in VolumeView
what should i to do???
