[vtkusers] Streamline in fluid flow

Hello to everybody,

I have a question concerning the use of streamlines:

Is it possible to perform mathematical operations on a physical field along
a previous generated streamline?
What I want to do: investigation of temperature loss of liquid metals during
casting.

I highly would apreciate any comments or experience on that topic.
