[vtkusers] Error running application on Windows 98 and Millenium

Hi !
We are facing a strange problem. When we compile an application which has vtkRenderWindow with the latest version of vtk libs we are not able to run it on Win 98 and Millennium platforms. It runs on Win NT and Win2000.

The same application runs fine on all the platforms when we compile it with vtk older version which uses a dll vtkdll.dll

Could that be a bug with that class?

Can anyone help us to know whether we are missing anything.

The error description is as follows.

Error: in D:\projects\vtk\vtk\rendering\vtkwin32openglrenderwindow.cxx line 588; vtkwin32openglrenderwindow (0x00c92160): could not create window , error:0
