[vtkusers] Generate height field in vtk

Dear all,

Could anyone advise me how to create height field from two
dimentional structured scalar dataset in vtk?(which object
to use and so on) I became a vtk user just recently and don'
t get used to it yet.
Although I use python, suggestion in tcl/c++ would be also
appreciated.
