I am using this filter to show variation of a scalar value by radius. However, the
function
does not vary between every pair of successive points. In these segments, it
looks like the TubeFilter generates a "Divide by zero" error. As my points
are along the Z axis, if there is no variation, I would have expected
a cylinder - because the range of variation is 0, the filter doesnt output anything.
Am I understanding this right? I was looking at the sources for TubeFilter..

Any ideas? I was thinking fo adding a small spurious variation along segments where
there is no variation, but this is ugly and can be misleading.
