[vtkusers] MapValue Function is not called

Hi,
I just updated from vtk 3.2 to 4.0 and have made necessary changes
related to the vtkAttributeData and it's subclasses. Now I found that
the virtual function MapValue of the the lookuptable will not be
executed (which was okay using vtk3.2) and therefore I cannot map scalar
values to given colors. Does anyone have encountered similar problems?
