[vtkusers] newbie question, can I use VTK as an engne and do my own graphics?

Hi,

I have an existing application that does all the graphics calls etc to set
up an opengl context, can I use VTK within this context i.e. I would like
vtk to use the context I have created. I guess my bottom line is that I
would like to feed vtk cell and results data and then tell it to ceate some
display (say a cut, or iso or streakline) and then grab the polys etc that
VTK has created and render them.
