[vtkusers] What are the methods to enhance contrast of an image using vtkIma geData ?

Hello all,
What are the methods in vtk to enhance the contrasts in a image stored in
vtkImageData? Whats the alternative to histogram in vtk? How can I improve
contrast in an image?
