[vtkusers] VTKBuildSettings.cmake missing

My VTK installion (gmake install) exits with a message:
  "ERROR!!! Unable to find: VTKBuildSettings.cmake"
I am using recent CVS VTK, IRIX 6.5/MIPSPro 7.3, and cmake 1.4.7. It looks
that VTKBuildSettings.cmake is not getting generated in the build
directory. Did anybody seen similar problem or knows how to go around it?

Suggestions greatly appreciated.
