[vtkusers] intel compiler icc 7.0

Has anyone tried to compile VTK with the intel compiler? Please, send me a 
message, just to share experiences!

I use a SuSE 8.1, icc 7.0, (gcc 3.2), glibc 2.2.5. 

At the moment the compiler hangs in directory IO with following error
