[vtkusers] [solved] problems with python on suse 8.1 and older

hi all, a wee while back i wrote to the mailing list about problems with
python and vtk using setup.py some of the examples wouldn't run. i worked
out the problem: somehow the python libraries which are symbolically
linked from /usr/lib/python2.2 to /usr/local/lib/vtk/*.so are linked to
binaries in VTKSRC/bin (where the compiled binaries are kept). when i
renamed bin to something else and put /usr/local/lib/vtk into the
LD_LIBRARY_PATH (or /etc/ld.so.conf) everything worked out fine.
btw, thanks for pointing me to the bit about tcl 8.4 
shouldn't that go into some install/readme document?
