[vtkusers] intersection of 2 poly data

Is there a way to determine the intersection of 2 vtkPolyData ?

I tried
1. convert a polz data to a function with  vtkImplicitDataSet, and then 
clipping the other poly data with that.
2. using vtkSelectPolyData, one poly data being the input, and the selection 
points being the points from the second poly data.

None of them work. Is there another way or trick to compute the intersection 
?
