[vtkusers] Nothing happends

Hello,

I have downloaded and installed VTK (vtk32Core.exe) and the windows examples
(vtk32-src-windows.zip). However, none of the examples, works. Neither
cone.cxx or the windows program Sample.

All programs can be compiled and linked without errors.

When the cone example is run, a DOS-prompt window and a window named
"Visualization Toolkit - Win32OpenGL #1" appears. Nothing happens in the
second window but the processor is working very hard on something.

The Sample program starts a process named sample. Again the processor is
working very hard with this process, but nothing visible is happening. No
window.

What can be wrong?

I am using MSVC++ 6.0, Windows 2000 on an HP OmniBook XE3.
