[vtkusers] Need help regarding running VTK examples

Hi
 	I am finally able to get VTK started. If I type vtk at the prompt,
 a fresh window comes up. However, I am not able to run the example files
 or the files from vtk20data.part1.tar.gz
 
 
 these are the errors I get:
 
 vtk hello.vtk
 Error in startup script: invalid command name "Stroked"
     while executing
 "Stroked lines spell hello..."
     (file "hello.vtk" line 2)
