[vtkusers] checking out using compression

Hello everybody,

I just tried to checkout the vtk source from the cvs-server using the switch
'-z 9' (and also 5) for enabling the compression. For the most files it
seems to work properly and much faster than using no compression, but the
checkout fails when reaching the file vtkParse.y.

It just hangs and does nothing. Does anybody encountered the same problem?
Anybody who is using the compression successfully?
