[vtkusers] vrml 1 to vrml 2 translator

I have some vrml 1 files to import into vtk.   However the vtk vrml
importer reads vrml 2.
There used to be a vrml 1 to vrml 2 translator distributed with SGI Irix
I think but I can't
find it now.
Does anyone know of a vrml 1 to vrml 2 translator ?
