[vtkusers] Q: PolyDataConnectivityFilter

I have a single STL surface, and use polydatanormals to get the feature edges followed by polydataconnectivityfilter to get it break into pieces.  However, I still have hard time to break this entire surface into combinations of pieces.  Even I used extractAllRegions, it is still showing "0" when I tried to print out GetNumberOfExtractedRegions.  

Question: How can I access the info of these pieces?  Thanks.
