[vtkusers] How to interact with objects in vtk? vtkPicker, vtkPropPicker....?

Dear all,

    Does anybody know how to make the vtk object interact with the user input. 
    I am writing a program, the aim of it is to change a sphere from red color to blue color after the user clicked the spere. Also,in the man page of vtk, there are some stuff of Picker,(vtkpicker, vtkproppicker, vtkpointpicker,etc).What are the difference between those picker?
