[vtkusers] trouble installing VTK on SGI

Hi:

I'm having trouble installing VTK on an SGI Octane (IRIX 6.5.11) with tcl.

Has anyone had success with this sort of installation?

Midway through the make, I get an error message:

ld32: FATAL   12 : Expecting n32 objects:
/usr/local/tcl/lib/libtcl.a(tclTimer.o) is o32.
*** Error code 2 (bu21)
*** Error code 1 (bu21)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
