[vtkusers] Porting Java binding to HP

Hello, everyone,

I know currently VTK comes with java binding for both
NT and Solaris.  However, because of thread issues
associated with HP-UX 10.20, there is no java binding
for HP.  Now that HP-UX 11.0 is out with native thread
support for both C++ and java, I think it's possible
to port java binding to HP-UX 11.0.  Has anybody
succeeded in this aspect?

I have developed an application which uses java as GUI
and VTK as visualization engine. It has a socket-based
client-server architecture. It works fine but I still
want to look into the JNI possibility since JNI is supposed
to be faster and more reliable.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.
