[vtkusers] Tcl/Tk and vtk3.1.2 source installation MS VC++ 6.0

In the VTK 3.1 Users Guide "Source Code Installation" page 10 says:

"If you plan on using Tcl/Tk and you are not using Microsoft Visual C++
version 5.0, then you will need to build the source code version of
Tcl/Tk." 

My question is, if am using Microsoft Visual C++ version 6.0 to
installing vtk 3.1.2, will I need to build the source code version of
Tcl/Tk?  Or will the binary Tcl/Tk 8.2.1 work?
