[vtkusers] snazzy text/labeling?

I was wondering if people have nice examples (images) demonstrating labeling
capabilities of VTK - and willing to share them with me.  For example, see the
NCAR Graphics page(s):

Would any of the VTK developers care to comment on what shortcomings VTK may
have in this area?
