Composite Volume Rendering

Hello Everybody

I am doing a Composite Volume Rendering of a structured data. I am hit
with this problem.

I want to have close samples of data. When I have the SampleDistance set
at 1.0 the output is clear and sharp

but when I set it to 0.01 the output gets blurred and hazy. I dont
understand why this happens. Can someone be kind enough to explain me
why this happens? and how to get a clear volume sampled at 0.01 using
CompositeFunction

ps: By the way, the majordomo seemed to have unsubscribed me for some
unknown reason.. I was waiting for the message to appear in the list for
