IV Importer

Hi,

I've got some open inventor files that I'd like to view.  Can anybody
suggest a way to import them into VTK?  

It seems that I have two choices: either write my own importer, or
convert the .iv files to something like .3ds files and use the
vtk3DSImporter.  I'm not sure if converting from .iv to .3ds is straight
forward.
