[vtkusers] Export STL files with VTK

hi, 

how can VTK export STL files ?

i indeed want to use these files to mesh in 3D my volumetric model built
with VTK and i need STL (or STEP) files for my mesh generator.

so how can VTK export STL files ?
Is the result perfect?
