[vtkusers] inverse of vtkImageFourierCenter?

Hi,
Is it possible to invert the effects of vtkImageFourierCenter?
what I'd like to try doing is
-take a 3D FFT
-center it
-take a 2D slice at arbitrary angle
-un-center it (the proposed new step)
-take the reverse FFT

Is this possible?
