Hi Edi,

The documentation is at http://public.kitware.com/vtk/quality/Doc/manhtml/
vtkThinPlateSplineTransform.html.  There are several example of how to use
this class in vtk/contrib/examplesTcl.  Other than that, there is no
documentation that I know of.

If you want detailed mathematical information on thin plate splines,
there are a couple references (as well as the algorithm itself, of course)
in vtkThinPlateSplineTransform.cxx.
