What about NURBS ?

Hi Folks,

a simple question: is anyone working on or thinking about
adding NURBS classes or other spline surfaces to vtk.
What about parametrization of 3D polygon surfaces to
a 2D parameter space (e.g. a sphere, if the surface topology allows
this) ?

No, I have no intention and no time to do this :-(. But an
application...
