How to get a JPEG/GIF file from vtk?

Hi,
 
 Do you know if there is any way of transform a file from some kind of
 VRMLExporter to JPEG or GIF? I checked all the vtkExporter but don't know
 how to transform them, like from .obj .wrl or .rib to .jpg/.gif. Your
 help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
