Just viewing the raw points it looks a bit odd, the points don't cover the
whole sphere evenly. It looks like they've been sampled on a grid along one
axis, so while at the two poles the points are fine around the equator
there are very few points. I don't know if this was intended.

Given this, the results from vtkDelaunay3D look fine to me.

(I was kind of hoping you'd need vtkSurfaceReconstructionFilter but you
can't win them all)
