exporting postscript

Hello everybody,

what is the best way to get high resolution (600dpi) postscript files from 
vtk-pictures. I tried with "SaveAsPPM" and "convert". I also tried  
ppm2ps but the results are not really satisfying. 

Thanks in advance for any suggestions
