ScalarBarActor in vtk23

I'm going crazy. An application running in vtk22 worked fine. The same code 
with vtk23 gives a Segmentation Fault when I do:

vtkScalarBarActor barActor
barActor SetLookupTable [sphereMapper GetLookupTable]
barActor SetPosition 200 0

renderer AddActor2D barActor

What is going on????
