[vtk-developers] Deprecate VTK_RENDERING_BACKEND=OpenGL

Hi Bill,
I have Ubuntu 16.04 (latest LTS) which has mesa 12.0. That should work fine
with OpenGL2.

The following blog mentions that OpenGL2 works with Mesa 11.1 (with a
workaround) and with 11.2.
