[vtk-developers] TestImageDataLIC2D test failures

I would bet this is a driver issue aka the typical Linux driver sometimes
shows black images issue. No clue what it is. If you get a chance try
running the test interactively and see if it works. If it does then I bet
it is a driver/xserver/timing thing. e.g. grabbing the buffer returns black
because something happened too fast. I see the same issue hit random tests
on some other linux systems when they do a ctest -j 8 etc.
Or it could be something completely else.
