[vtk-developers] vtkGridSynchronizedTemplates3D and zero copy arrays

I noticed that the changes to vtkGridSynchronizedTemplates3D() for zero copy arrays discussed in the Kitware blog(http://www.kitware.com/blog/home/post/846) aren't currently in VTK. Are there any plans to merge these changes into master?
