Thanks for the quick work!  I was just testing the changes.  It's much better now but there's one issue left... the filenames I get, in both debug and release are now:

libvtkhdf5_hl.a
libvtkhdf5.a

but every other library file is named with "-6.2" in the file name, like, to take 3 examples:

libvtkCommonCore-6.2.a
libvtkexpat-6.2.a
libvtkNetCDF-6.2.a

The HDF files used to have this version number too.
