[vtk-developers] New DICOM reader pre-announce

I'll have more info on this next week, but here is a
pre-announcement for a new DICOM reader for VTK:

The main features are:
- complete and easy access to metadata
- image orientation management
- multi-dimensional file support
- supports compressed DICOM (via GDCM)
- supports enhanced multi-frame MR and CT files
