[vtk-developers] Python VTK interfacing with 3Dx software

I've been looking, over the past week, for a way to interface Python wrapped
VTK with 3Dx software (e.g. SpaceNavigator). Support is obviously there, at
least partially, as Python callable functions exist that pertain to 3Dx;
however, I cannot seem to figure out how they're supposed to be used, nor
can I find any documentation thereof.
