Thanks for this response. (Anybody know about the other tests? And whether they're doomed-to-fail on this machine or whether I can make them work...?)

Is there a way to do a quick test of a card (at the very beginning of these tests, perhaps?) to see whether it's capable of running the tests? And if an insufficient card is detected, print out text saying as much, and skip the rest of the test, and make it "pass since it can't be run"...?

I can only speak for the two ImageMapper tests at the bottom.
They are failing due to insufficient power of the graphics card
(they use ancient-style fragment program that I wrote for bicubic
texture interpolation, but it's too long for such an old card).
