[vtk-developers] Reducing gerrit test failures

Folks,
There have been discussion/complaints about the number of recurring
test failures on the three gerrit build systems.
Several remedies have been suggested, but Dave Cole's "We could write
tests that pass" comment inspired me to look at the failing tests and
see if it would be possible to get the recurring test failures to 0.
We're getting close.
A week ago the gerrit platforms had the following errors:
Ubuntu - 28
Mac - 4
Windows - 3
Recent patches have reduced these numbers:
Ubuntu - 2
Mac - 1
Windows - 3
The causes of the errors were varied.
Zero defects is within easy reach on Ubuntu and Mac.
TestSplitViewportStereoHorizontal - failing on all 3 gerrit machines
and dozens of others
TestTemplates - failing on Ubuntu
Windows is a bit tricker, since the uniques faling tests onlt seem to
fail on the gerrit windows build.
