[vtk-developers] Issues with Ubuntu 11.10

Hello all

I just upgraded my laptop from Ubuntu 11.04 to 11.10. I think this was a
big mistake as I ran into a lot of issues as a result of it.

The latest one I am struggling with is the following: whenever trying to
execute a VTK test, I am getting the following error:

Xlib:  extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib:  extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".

Interestingly enough, I do not have a xorg.conf file in /etc, as there used
to be before the upgrade.

Does anyone know what might be going on here?
