This message is better suited for the vtk-users mailing list. I
suggest you send a question there with clarification of your last
paragraph - you say you are rendering a polydata then you talk about
displaying an image? Also, why can you not render something just
because you want to position it in a certain way? How else do you
expect it to get drawn if you don't render it?
