Hi

This is the wrong list for this kind of question. You should write to
vtk-users .

Nevertheless,

1. I would suggest you should try to implement something you need. You
will automatically start searching for functions/classes.

2. In order to get a feeling what is in VTK it may be useful to play
with ParaView, load data, run filters, etc. ParaView is built using the VTK
library, and illustrates many of the mesh/image processing and visualization
strengths of VTK.

3. Have a look at the examples http://www.vtk.org/Wiki/VTK/Examples,
e.g. for C++ http://www.vtk.org/Wiki/VTK/Examples/Cxx. There are many
examples in different programming languages.

4. If you have found a filter/class you want to use, the doxygen
Documentation links to existing Examples or Tests. Both are very useful to
learn how to use a class.

5. Of course there is a book, which you could buy/borrow.

6. Send questions to vtk-users, search the archives .

Subject: [vtk-developers] Hi

Hi,

I am a beginner in using ITK and VTK.

I am working on an application in which

1)Read an Image using ITK

2)Display it on a VTK Viewer.

3) I need to embed the VTK viewer in an MFC GUI.

Please suggest some suggestions on how to approach this.

Awaiting the reply.
