Hi Dave,

I've staged a few branches that I'm hoping can go into release, these
are all wrapper-related patches from master that I've cherry-picked.

They are in reverse dependency order (i.e. wrapping-unused-variable
should be merged first).

wrapping-unused-variable

I've done a local merge/build/test and they came up clean.
