I have not seen this, and just tried it on an msysgit Windows install
(Windows 7 64 bit), a Linux machine (Arch 64 bit) and could make a
fresh clone, run the setup script and commit. Are you using bleeding
edge bash or something? I haven't seen any reports from other users,
and cannot reproduce your issue. Could you verify the hooks are in
fact getting checked out correctly?
