[vtk-developers] git 'update' hook

Hello,

I've been looking for a server-side git hook that blocks the push if a
submodule reference being pushed does not exist in the submodule repository.
Then I came across the following wiki page:

I see that your update hook does this along with some other very useful
things. Would you mind sharing the code for that hook with me? I would love
to use parts of it in my repositories.
